Why we have a Company

We have a Company at Dance Essence that dancers can audition for. We are incredibly proud of our team and love what this brings to our studio. Being part of our Company is ultimately a performance opportunity. Being part of our Company is a team and family experience. Dancers learn how to work together and become a family.

Our Company participates in 3 competitions and various community performances. We want to give our dancers as many opportunities to perform as possible.

While it’s wonderful when our dancers and teachers get recognized at competitions, our ultimate goal of competing is to enjoy the experience, have fun reaching your goals and beating your personal best. We want dancers to enjoy their time on stage, whatever stage that might be!

Our mission as a studio is to create an inclusive environment whether you’re in Company or not. We respect all our dancers equally. Our commitment to all dancers is to teach and guide them into becoming outstanding and reliable dancers. As a member of the Performance Company, dancers learn to be trustworthy team members and be accountable to others and themselves. Our goal is to provide students who have the desire, to grow and train as dancers, performers and artists while providing a positive, innovative and creative environment.

Our Company philosophy is to trust the process! You never know what this experience will be like until you try and not every company is the same. The Dance Essence staff are well educated and incredibly prepared to put in what is given out by dancers. We concentrate on clearly defining focus, execution and the process.
