Lyrical

Ages 10 & Up

Lyrical is an expressive dance form. Dancers should feel the music and show expression through the lyrics. Lyrical can often have a story and dancers can show the story through their movements. Lyrical is a very mature dance style that shows true feelings and emotions and should only be done at an older age so it can be understood. Improvisation is explored during lyrical class. Lyrical is very technique based and a strong ballet background is strongly recommended.
